Kelowna man faces drug charges

Arrested by Penticton RCMP Drug Task Force

A Kelowna man is facing trafficking charges after his arrest in Penticton Wednesday. The 29 year old, along with a 21 year old Penticton woman were taken into custody in the 900 block of Fairview Road. The Penticton RCMP Drug Task Force says a search of the man found quantities of cocaine, heroin and meth, along with trafficking paraphernalia. The suspect, who has a lengthy criminal record including 38 prior convictions was released to appear in court at a later date. The Penticton woman, who has no criminal record was released without charges.
